ClickZippy Live Bid · How It Works

From requirement to live competition.

ClickZippy turns a buyer requirement into a controlled, scheduled B2B reverse auction. Buyers define the event and rules, eligible suppliers register, and registered suppliers compete with lower valid bids when the auction opens.

● LIVE AUCTION REAL TIME

One requirement. Multiple suppliers.

Live ranking keeps the competition clear while supplier identities remain protected from competitors.

Built for both sides of the transaction

Each role has a clear responsibility, while the auction remains one controlled event from publication through award.

For Buyers

Create and control the requirement

Publish a structured requirement and define how suppliers will compete.

  • Define requirement, category and quantity
  • Set starting price and minimum bid decrement
  • Set opening and closing date/time
  • Add product-wise requirements when applicable
  • Attach technical documents such as specifications or BOQ
  • Review final ranking and award the business
For Suppliers

Register, compete and track your position

Suppliers participate only in events for which they are registered.

  • Browse available bidding opportunities
  • Review buyer requirement and auction details
  • Register for the specific bidding event
  • Enter the live room when bidding opens
  • Submit lower valid bids according to the bid rules
  • Track your own rank and improve your position

The ClickZippy auction journey

A simple four-stage flow keeps the process understandable and controlled.

01

Buyer creates

Define the requirement, pricing rules, opening time, closing time and supporting information.

02

Suppliers register

Suppliers log in and register against the individual auction. Registration is tied to that event.

03

Bidding goes live

When the scheduled opening time arrives, registered suppliers can submit lower valid bids and follow L1/L2/L3.

04

Close & award

The server closes the event, preserves the bidding record and provides the final ranking for buyer award.

What happens inside a live auction?

The live room brings the essential information together so suppliers can make timely bidding decisions.

Scheduled opening & closing

Suppliers may register before opening, but bidding is available only when the configured opening time arrives.

Lower valid bids

A new bid must improve the current bidding position by the configured minimum decrement.

L1

Live L1 / L2 / L3

The leading positions update as valid bids arrive. Your own company name is visible to you while competitors remain anonymous.

Product-wise bidding

Multi-Product Requirements can present separate product cards and allow suppliers to bid independently against each product.

PDF

Technical documents

Buyer-provided specifications, BOQ, drawings, terms and other supported PDF documents can be reviewed with the auction.

Recorded bidding

Valid bids are recorded against the event so the final ranking can be reviewed when the auction closes.

Understand the bidding rules

ClickZippy keeps the core reverse-auction rules visible so buyers and suppliers know what to expect.

Before you bid

1
Check the requirementReview quantity, category, specification and any attached technical documents.
2
Check the auction timingConfirm the opening and closing time before entering the live competition.
3
Understand the decrementYour bid must be lower than the current valid position by at least the configured minimum step.
4
Confirm before submittingLive bidding is time-sensitive. Enter the amount carefully before placing the bid.
+60 sec

Anti-sniping protection

A valid bid received during the final 60 seconds can extend the auction by 60 seconds. This gives eligible participants an opportunity to respond instead of allowing a last-second bid to end the competition immediately.

Multi-Product Requirement

When a buyer needs more than one product, the same auction event can clearly show each required item and support product-wise competition.

Buyer View

One event, multiple products

Build a requirement with separate product/item details while retaining the same auction schedule and event controls.

  • Product name and quantity per item
  • Specification per item
  • Starting price per item
  • Technical documents with the auction
  • One controlled auction schedule
Supplier View

Bid against each product

Each product is presented as its own bidding card so suppliers can see the requirement, current position and their own performance clearly.

  • Current L1 for each product
  • Your best bid for each product
  • Your rank for each product
  • Separate bid entry for each product
  • L1/L2/L3 competition for each product
